Monday Motivation! 

 

That quote says it all. Thanks to Katrina and Karena from Tone It Up for this pretty lil quote. 

This is for all the people just starting out. Maybe you haven’t worked out in a decade, or maybe it’s been a couple months… Or maybe you’ve never really worked out or started a program before.

It’s both an exciting, and sometimes overwhelming time. Pressure to succeed, seeing all the fit people at the gym. Not knowing how to use the gym equipment and feeling intimidated by those who appear to be pros. Feeling fatigued easily, feeling doms for days (doms refers to “delayed onset muscle soreness”). It’s a challenge, and it should be because as the saying goes: 

If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.  

But don’t let others discourage you! And don’t let physical discomfort get the best of you. The only competition you should have is with the person you were yesterday (yah I went there 😂). Whatever level you’re starting out at, you just have to start… And then you just have to keep going. 

One. Day. At. A. Time! You’ve got this! I’ve got this!
