Happy Spring Equinox!
It’s Sunday, but there was sadly no “runday” happening for me… a first in a very long long time! My body is so sore! I had a killer leg and booty training day yesterday (not to mention a full week of training), then played 18 holes of golf for the first time since last summer, then spent the evening at a Portland Timbers soccer game where I stood almost the entire time… then proceeded to go out dancing for hours. (Needless to say, I’m slightly hungover- yup it happens, not very often but the reality is I’m human. Doesn’t take much these days!)
This weeks Sunday Lately word prompts are: Updating, Remembering, Needing, Wearing, Being.
- My workout playlist is getting stale, and I need to take some time to update it. Music is one of those thing, sort of like nature, that really soothes the soul and can also get me pumped and put me in an instant good mood.
- Trying to keep up with all the social media handles and the blog, constantly. It’s definitely not easy to remember them all, but I’m trying to get better. Especially with Snapchat, it took a lot of persuading to start one… and when I finally did, I thought it was pretty lame. It’s since gotten even more lame (for reasons) but I’m giving it another shot so I’ve been trying to update it more often. Feel free to add me if you’re bored and like seeing random stuff. I’m attempting to do more story like updates! My handle is teepadron 👻
I just realized it’s spring break and I don’t have to wake up at 6:30am to take my daughter to school all week. Sometimes I feel like a taxi driving teenagers around most of the day!
Sunshine. Oregon had three days of sunshine which I spent hiking and golfing. It was great but it really, really makes me want more of it. Desperately. I could hike every day, and I know if I was able to I would die a happy person!
On friday I went shopping for some new workout gear… pretty much my favorite thing to do and wear! I picked up a new pair of Nike shoes (which I needed badly since I gave my daughter my fave pair of black ones for her new dance class at school), a couple tank tops, a sports bra, some pants, and socks. The power of new gear should never be underestimated! I was so excited to workout on Saturday that I had trouble sleeping 😬
Grateful. I’m really enjoying life the last 6 months… I suppose doing the things I love every day is what has made a huge difference. Something can definitely be said for not being stressed out 99% of the time. Health is definitely wealth!
That’s a wrap of Sunday Lately!
Have a great week, keep your goals and intentions at the forefront of your mind and kill it!
