Every now and then you come across a product that is noteworthy, and you think to yourself, “why didn’t I know about this sooner?” Well, I found such a product in the Multistick from Bite Beauty, so I had to share it. Yes, it’s a little different than my normal posts but I’ve warned you all in my *About Me* page that I’m obsessed with Sephora (e.i makeup), and it was bound to happen sooner or later. After all, a happy, healthy, and balanced life also includes looking your best in addition to feeling your best!
So what’s to love about the Multistick? Several things, but firstly, it’s usable on eyes, cheeks, and lips, interchangeably… my first thought went immediately to how much room I could save in my cosmetic case when traveling if I had a product like this! And don’t get me started on how the post gym makeup game just changed! Secondly, as quoted by Bite Beauty on their Sephora product page, “the formula creates a soft focus finish that’s blend-able, breathable, and build-able.” Sounds pretty legit, and from my use of three of the colors, I’m gonna agree.
I tried out “Blondie”, “Cocoa” and “Macaroon”, all were shades that I felt worked with my skin tones and could be used together to create a pulled together look. I plan on adding Honeywheat and Papaya to my arsenal too! There are 18 colors total and plenty of ways to mix/match them, or just use one stick for all 3 areas.
One of my favorite things about the Multistick is that it has powder built into the formula, yet it applies as a cream, so it’s easily blend-able as the brand speaks of. It’s also paraben, phthalates, and sulfate free. I obviously love the ease of use, and feel the product is best used on the cheeks… Something you could try for fun, mix two colors together to create a new look. Super versatile! On the down side, I have what I call “problem Lips,” as in, no matter what product I use it will disappear immediately and I’m left with dry flaky lips. For what it’s worth the Multistick actually stayed on longer than some other products, but it felt really dry almost immediately… I’m pretty used to that however, so it didn’t really bother me. I know that if I want my lips to be colored and supple I’ll need to constantly reapply and keep chapstick or lipgloss on hand… I normally just do one application in the morning or when I leave my house to go out and any time in between my lips are just going to be bare. If you have the same problem as me, you probably won’t like it on your lips.
All in all, I like a simple (and very natural) look and I’m stoked when I can get out of my house or the gym in the shortest amount of time possible. This definitely does the trick in terms of lessening the amount of stuff that gets slathered onto my face.
If you’ve tried the Multistick leave a comment on what you thought!
